So it's been about a year, time for a new DA journal entry. I love the west. I think I'll be here indefinitely. My life is so full of good fortune and beauty it's just stunning to be here every day.

I have a new camera! It's a Canon PowerShot SX100IS and I love it. I think it's about as advanced as I can afford just short of being an SLR. ;_; But it's wonderful and it has really served me well.

I'm also trying to step my photos up a notch. There's a bar that hosts a weekly art gallery in my town, so my goal is to have my photography up (and for sale!) sometime this summer. So constructive criticism and suggestions are highly encouraged! Wish me luck!
